Thanks Patti. The article was actually an analysis of 1 Corinthians, specifically chapter 11. As such, I wasn’t attempting to give a complete synopsis on all sources of communion, but I did want to focus on the earliest written account as is pertinent to how the church should interact with communion.

I’d love to dive further into what Jesus offers on communion and I intend to this upcoming week (specifically in the role of Passover in Jesus’ employment of the sacrament).
