I have been thinking a lot lately of how people often conflate these modes of persuasion to make a particular argument.

For example -- claiming to be using "logos" but really using "pathos" or claiming for something to be "logical" because an expert said so (ethos).

Do you think that in utilizing these modes of persuasion, it is possible to utilize them wrongly (possibly even coercively)?
